1. Event Overview
The Diaspora Homecoming Summit 2026 ("the Event") is scheduled for August 5–8, 2026, in Kigali, Rwanda. By registering, you agree to these Terms & Conditions in full.
2. Registration & Ticket Tiers
Two registration categories are available:
- Standard — $499 USD (Regular) / $299 USD (Early Bird)
- VIP — $999 USD (Regular) / $599 USD (Early Bird)
Early bird pricing represents a 40% discount and is available from March 9, 2026, until April 15, 2026. After the early bird deadline, regular pricing applies automatically.
3. Payment
All payments are processed securely through DPO (Direct Pay Online), our trusted payment partner. Accepted methods include Visa, Mastercard, Mobile Money, and other international cards. All prices are in US Dollars (USD).
Upon clicking "Pay," you will be securely redirected to the DPO payment portal to complete your transaction. Payment links are valid for 24 hours from the time of generation.
4. Registration Confirmation
Upon successful payment, you will receive a confirmation email with your registration number, invoice, and invitation letter. A QR code will be generated for event check-in purposes.
5. Group Registration
Group registrations allow two or more attendees to register together. The group leader completes the registration and payment for all members. Each group member may be assigned a Standard or VIP tier independently.
6. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- More than 60 days before the event: Full refund minus a $50 USD administrative fee.
- 30–60 days before the event: 50% refund of the registration fee.
- Less than 30 days before the event: No refund. Registration may be transferred to another attendee at no additional cost.
All refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@diaspora-homecoming.com.
7. Visa Support
Registered attendees requiring a visa to enter Rwanda may request a visa support letter after registration confirmation. The organizers will provide supporting documentation but cannot guarantee visa approval, as this is at the discretion of the relevant immigration authorities.
8. Attendee Conduct
All attendees are expected to behave professionally and respectfully. The organizers reserve the right to remove any attendee whose conduct is deemed disruptive, offensive, or inappropriate, without refund.
9. Photography & Media
By attending the Event, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded, and grant the organizers permission to use such media for promotional and documentation purposes.
10. Liability
The organizers are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or expense incurred by attendees during the Event, including travel-related incidents. Attendees are strongly advised to arrange their own travel insurance.
11. Force Majeure
In the event of circumstances beyond the organizers' control (including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or civil unrest), the Event may be postponed, relocated, or cancelled. In such cases, registered attendees will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer their registration to the rescheduled event.
12. Modification of Terms
The organizers reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to registered attendees via email.
